What you need to know for your excursion to Venice!
The City of Venice experimentally introduced a fixed fee of € 5. 00 to be paid by daily visitors (accomodated outside the City of Venice) who want to access the “Old City”, or the historic center of Venice (minor islands excluded). The fee will be applied from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm on the following days:
- 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 April 2024 - 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26 May 2024 - 8, 9, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29, 30 June 2024 - 6, 7, 13 and 14 July 2024
and must be paid online, through the dedicated website https://cda.ve.it/en/, from which a nominal QR code will be issued to be displayed if requested.
The following categories are exempt from the Access Fee: - Subjects born in the City of Venice - Residents in the City of Venice - Children under 14 years of age
Exempted from the contribution but must apply for the exemption via the website: - Residents of the Metropolitan City of Venice - Residents of the Veneto Region - Persons with disabilities
